Allmax Isoflex is a very expensive but delicious whey isolate. It digests very easy and the flavoring is top notch. If you have some money grab the chocolate peanut butter which is truly delicious. One of my favorite isolate protein powders on the market. (Posted on 6/28/2016)

I have songs tried the Strawberry and the Chocolate peanut butter. This stuff doesn't take long to dissolve, none of that clumpy junk. Great protein content per scoop. Yet the flavor doesn't suffer by any means. Best tasting protein powder I have ever had the privilege of ingesting. (Posted on 6/27/2016)

I have been training for over five years . There are many and I mean many isoprotien I have tried. A personal trainer friend told me about this product. I have stayed with this product since. It is bit pricey. But its soo worth it. I has a great taste and no after taste. My favorite is chocolate peanut butter. I hope this helps someone. My kids have even loved taking this protein as well. That's a bonus !!! (Posted on 6/27/2016)

This Allmax Isoflex is good protein but you will pay for it. I would probably try to buy this when there is a promotion on it or something like that, because it can be a little costly if you are buying it on just a regular day. However, you are not paying for something that does not taste good or does not work. This protein does have good taste and will provide your muscles with some great fuel to help aid in the process of recovery. It will not fail you. (Posted on 1/7/2016)

Isoflex is definitely a good product. There is really only one downside, and that is the price. It's about one pound for over $20, and that's just too much for me. However, this website is one of the cheapest prices I have seen. I would probably go with the other Allmax whey protein because its cheaper, but this one is definitely effective. (Posted on 3/8/2015)

Isoflex is by far the best protein I have ever had as far as muscle building goes. Ive been lifting intensely for about 1.5 years now and have had many different types of proteins and ALLMAX peanut butter chocolate blows any protein Ive ever had out of the water when going for the result of lean mass building. Being an Isolate, its got zero sugars, no fat, no cholesterol, next to no carbs, the least amount of calories and the most protein per serving. It may be a little pricey but you get what you pay for and its worth every penny. It mixes great and taste is about an 8. Highly recommended. (Posted on 12/24/2014)

Almax Isoflex is a pure Isolate, which is pretty much meaningless. BUT, this is an awesome tasting protein and mixes incredibly well. just be aware that, as it is an isolate, it mixes really thin. Only useful for a shake, which I hardly ever have (preferring to make things out of my protein).
If you are looking for an isolate though, this is a solid choice.
Recommended. (Posted on 11/7/2014)

Staff Reviews

Jeff Moriarty - I take protein on a daily basis to help me reach my macronutrient goals. This is by far the best protein supplement I have ever taken. The taste is awesome (peanut butter chocolate), actually has small chocolate chips in it. Trust me, it makes it easier to drink a protein shake if it tastes good. Also, it's one of the purest whey protein isolates on the market. 90% whey protein isolate. Perfect for not making you feel filled up or bloated. I usually take it in the morning and sometimes post-workout with some carbs. It's very thin textured due to the very, very low fat and carbs. You could add milk instead of water if you wanted to make it thicker. It's more expensive, but that's because its just a better protein than 99% of what is out there. Also available in 2lbs, but the 5lbs has like 80+ servings, so I would just go with that.

John Brooks - I use vanilla Isoflex in my smoothie almost everyday. First and foremost it’s a CFM whey protein isolate which is the best method for isolating whey protein while preserving the biological activity of the subfractions. It mixes is easy and tastes great.

Q: Difference between Powder & Ready to Drinks (RTD)?

A: The biggest differences between an RTD and powder are the form, flavor, consistency, cost, calories, and convenience factor. Generally those who value convenience tend to go with an RTD. That being said Isoflex powder mixes very easily so many just add some powder to a shaker bottle and add cold water whenever they want to drink it. Please find the table below comparing chocolate flavor of both Isoflex powder and Isoflex Instant Protein RTD.

Calories 200

Calories 115

Total Fat 8g

Total Fat 0g

Total Carbohydrates 1g

Please note the protein source is the same between the RTD and Powder.

Q: What is best flavor?

A: Of course this is a subjective question therefore the best thing to do is look at the sales data. Please find the flavors listed below in order of popularity:

1)      Peanut Butter Chocolate

2)      Chocolate

3)      Vanilla

4)      Strawberry

5)      Chocolate Mint

6)      Banana Crème Supreme

7)      Unflavored

8)      Arctic Orange

9)      Lemon Iced Tea*

10)   Citrus Peach Sensation*

*Isoflex Chiller Flavors

Q: Is it Gluten Free?

A: Yes Isoflex is gluten free; this info can be found on the bottom of the label under the supplement facts panel.

Q: Is it Worth the High Price? Why is it so expensive?

A: Isoflex is made primarily with Cross-Flow Microfiltered whey protein isolate which is the best method for isolating whey protein. Specifically this process allows manufacturers to remove the fat and lactose while preserving the biological activity of the whey protein fractions.

Q: When/How should I take it? How much should I take?

A: When one takes their protein powder should be determined by the following factors:

-          Performance - if you perform better having something in your stomach before training but do not want to have a large meal as it will hinder performance one can use Isoflex 0.5-1.5 hours before training.

-          Convenience – Use it when it’s convenient and helps get you closer to your goals for a given day.

-          Caloric Goals – How much protein one gets from Isoflex should be looked it in terms of total protein intake for a given day. For instance if one is looking to build muscle and taking in 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight per day (2.2g/kg bodyweight/day) Isoflex should be counted just like any other protein source (chicken, eggs, beef, etc…).

Q: What type of protein is it?

A: Allmax Nutrition Isoflex is a whey protein isolate. The distinction between whey protein isolate and concentrate is made based on the percent of protein of the raw material. When the percentage of protein in terms of the raw material (discounting the addition of flavoring, other macronutrients etc…) is > 89% it is considered an isolate. Isoflex boasts 90% protein per serving even with the addition of flavoring.

Q: Is it Kosher?

A: No, Isoflex protein powder is not kosher; however Isolflex Instant RTD (ready to drink) is Kosher.

Q: Is it Lactose Free?

A: Isoflex is over 98% lactose free and many who are lactose intolerant tolerate Isoflex very well. Only the most sensitive individuals to lactose would have issues and this describes very few people who are lactose intolerant.

Q: Are there any side effects?

A: No, Isoflex is a whey protein and is simply a powered food source.

Q: Difference between Isoflex and Isoflex Naturals (IsoNatural)?

A: Both Isoflex and IsoNatural have the same Cross-Flow Microfiltered whey protein isolate. The main difference is the Isonatural contains no artificial sweeteners or colors. Specifically it is sweetened with natural flavors, stevia, and monk fruit. Please note the unflavored IsoNatural original is also still available. The only ingredients are whey protein isolate and lecithin.  Isoflex is sweetened with natural and artificial flavors, acesulfame potassium, and sucralose. Also please find a video linked below explaining the differences.

Q: Can I use this with other supplements?

A: Yes, Isoflex protein powder is the same as any protein rich food source and therefore would adversely affect other supplements.

Q: Will it make me fat?

A: Allmax Nutrition Isoflex is a protein powder that has virtually zero fat and carbohydrates. Now protein does yield four calories per gram and can therefore contribute to a caloric surplus like anything else. That being said protein is the least likely of the three macronutrients to do so as it has the highest thermic effect and is the most satiating. In fact on average 25% of the calories yielded from protein are burned in digesting it (the aforementioned TEF).

Q: How many calories?

A: The amount of calories in each flavor varies
