Empyrean Nutrition PeptiBolic Amino Acid Supplement 360 Caps

Why Only Get a Few Amino Acids? Peptibolic Has All 20 Amino Acids!

All 20 amino acids are needed during & after exercise otherwise the body will have to make the other amino acids from muscle tissue.

Peptides obtained by ‘classic' hydrolysis are extremely bitter, are absorbed slower due to left over oligopeptides & free form amino acids. Also they can cause some allergic reactions and have no or only a low effect on raising the insulin level after exercise

The di- and tri-peptides in PeptoPro® are completely water soluble. Current research shows that more than 70% of amino acids appear intact in the form of di- & tri-peptides in circulation to be transported to peripheral tissues.

The intestinal lining has peptide transporters. In a competitive environment, i.e. substances competing for absorption into the bloodstream, di- & tri-peptides are much more stable & therefore are absorbed into the bloodstream much more efficiently. Current research shows that more than 70% of amino acids appear intact in the form of di- & tri-peptides in circulation to be transported to peripheral tissues & research has shown that di- & tri-peptides are absorbed faster than free form amino acids & hydrolysates containing larger peptides.

    • Do you need to take any additional protein with the Empyrean Peptibolic? How many capsules would I need to take post workout if I weigh 230 pounds?
    • It is still recommended that you take a protein supplement throughout the day to meet your goal of 230 grams of protein. Recommended dose would be 5-10 capsules before and after a workout.

  • From Sam Eliopulos at Aug/02/2011 08:August PM
    • According to the label on this bottle it says to take 5 pills pre and post workout. Is it considered safe to ingest this many pills in a short period of time? Also is it required to take peptibolic post workout if you take a post workout shake like myofusion or insupro?
    • It is perfectly safe to take 5 pills at a time. Many customers have actually upped the dosage to 10 capsules at once. If you are taking InsuPro post workout you will not need the post workout serving of Peptibolic.

    • IS THERE ENOUGH BETA ALANINE AND L-ARGININE IN PEPTIBOLIC PRO TO SATISFY DAILY REQUIREMENTS? OR WOULD I STILL NEED TO SUPP THEM?
    • There's not any beta alanine in it, as for arginine there is some in there but it is not intended to increase NO levels (as this has been disproven anyways). Perhaps you are talking about the new product from them, Beta Peptide which as 2g of Beta Alanine per serving.

  • From Jay at Jan/04/2012 03:January AM
    • The protein is just 2g per 5 capsules so if I take it before and after workout I only have 4g of protein. Is this enough for me to accomplish the benefits of protein because the content is very small?
    • There is not enough protein in the Empyrean Nutrition Peptibolic to build muscle but the benefit is to kick start anabolism and halt muscle breakdown.

Pump from Aminos? Review by Brendad K.
Effectiveness
Bought this because a friend recommended it. First amino acid supplement that I saw had all the aminos, not just 3 of them. Seems to give me better recovery and the one thing I noticed was a pump from taking them, which my buddy told me about. I usually take a full serving before my workout, I don't do 1/2 before and 1/2 after like the bottle says. Overall though, a 9/10. (Posted on Aug/22/2011)

Seems Expensive, But 360 Caps! Review by David

GREAT product. Highly recommend. Seems expensive but the bottle has a lot of capsules. Very easy to take / swallow even though there are 5 capsules per serving. I take this right before workout as well as in between meals to stave off catabolism. If you're using Insu-Pro by the same company though I don't think it makes sense to take this post-workout like they recomend on the bottle. (Posted on May/16/2011)
