This is probably the best protein on the market today. It tastes delicious and it's very effective. It has added BCAAs for recovery and you get a lot of servings. Optimum Gold Standard is arguably one the best all around whey proteins on the market. Depending on the site or store you get it at, it ranges from 40-50 $'s for 5 pounds. Unlike other brands where they offer you 2-5 flavors, optimum has a plethora of various flavors. I have tasted alot of terrible tasting protein in my life, and although Gold standard isnt the best, every flavor is worth trying and you dont have to choke it down. This protein is often a top seller on a majority of respected supplement retail websites for a reason, you cant go wrong with buying this brand. (Posted on 6/14/11)

This product seems to be worth its weight in gold. I take it three times a day and mostly love the fact that it has Glutamine in it s my muscles stay nicely fed... Wheather mixed with water or milk it still taste good. Although the name"double rich choc." doesn't quite suit it. It's a bit weak in the choc. flavor dept. but is overall the best protein Ive taken for the price--- No more GNC proteins, Id rather get more for my $$$$.
