Got a 3 serving sample and I have to admit that I was impressed! The energy was unreal! I was a big fan of the original and this one is right up there with it. If you're not a fan of Beta-Alanine tingles then this is not a product for you because this bad boy has plenty of it. I know it has a full dose of creatine (5 grams) as well as a full dose of Beta-Alanine(4 grams I believe). Every ingredient is fully disclosed on the label which is a plus and MuscleTech really did a good job with this formula! The only bad thing is that it requires the full 3 scoops to get the proper amount of ingredients that have been proven effective in human clinical trials. This would mean that a full tub won't last too long and the price may not justify the serving amount. If you're ok with cutting down on the # of scoops then this preworkout is definitely for you.

Post-Workout Research has demonstrated an intense training session (> 60 - 90 minutes) will deplete internal energy stores, i.e. glycogen. If one were to only ingest protein post-workout the protein would be used to stabilize blood sugar levels and replenish glycogen.
