3 Protein Shake Recipes for Muscle Gains

Whether you're hitting the gym hard looking for gains or whether you're just looking to increase your protein intake, a good protein shake can be a game changer for your muscle building goals. Many people struggle to have the appetite or the desire to eat enough protein to get their daily protein needs met, so protein shakes can be an excellent way to supplement and add some additional protein to your diet. While protein shakes have come a long way over the years, nobody wants to choke down a bland chalky shake everyday. Well we've got good news for you, your protein shakes don't have to be boring, in this post we're going to share 3 of my favorite protein shake recipes which are not only packed with nutrients to your gains, but they're also super easy to make and incredibly tasty. 

3 Delicious Easy to Make Protein Shakes

1. Chocolate Banana Power Shake - 42-48 Grams Protein

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Tip: You can add a handful of oats for extra carbs and energy.

2. Berry Blast Protein Smoothie - 41-46 Grams Protein

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 cup water or milk
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Blend all ingredients together until smooth.
  2. Serve immediately.

Tip: Use frozen berries to make it extra cold and refreshing.

3. Green Power Protein Shake - 23-29 Grams Protein

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop vanilla or unflavored protein powder
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Blend all the ingredients until smooth.
  2. Pour into a glass and enjoy the green goodness.

Tip: The avocado adds healthy fats and makes the shake creamy.

These shakes are easy to whip up and packed with nutrients to help with muscle recovery and growth!
