John:
Hey, guys. John and Jeff here with Best Price Nutrition. You can check out the website at bestpricenutrition.com, and in today's video we're going to be answering one of the most common questions that we get from you guys through chats, calls, emails. If you guys ever have questions about any of the products, but in particular some of the more complicated ones, Prohormones and things like that, feel free to give us a call, drop us an email, shoot us a chat on the site. We're happy to answer these questions.
But today, a lot of people have questions about can they split tablets in half, either with fat burners because they find it to be too strong, or for a variety of reasons with Prohormones.
Jeff:Yeah. Prohormones, sometimes they just want to split the dosage up or even though these are pretty small, some people want it even smaller. They have problems swallowing.
John:
So the Prohormones, it's probably not recommended, but it's not the worst thing in the world. With fat burners, it's understandable that some of the DMHA fat burners are a little bit too strong for some users.
Jeff:
Exactly. So I actually got a chance to talk with Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals, the vice president over there, and I did ask him that question because it was a common question. The way that they make these with the cyclosome delivery system and the liposomal delivery system is there is a slight coating on them, so breaking them in half can have some effect on the bioavailability of them, but very minimal. He didn't go into it. But the compounds within the tablets themselves, during the formulation process of this delivery system, they're compressed so much that it's almost like what's inside of these tablets is also kind of coated.
John:
Part of that.
Jeff:
Yeah. So it will have a little bit of effect, not a huge amount. But something like the Lipodrene, if you cut that in half, the thing that's going to happen there is that it may hit you harder and stronger right off the bat because you are removing that little coating. So that's something to think about when you are wanting to slice these in half.
John:
Probably a little bit less longevity on the energy too.
Jeff:
Yes, exactly. So that's with that, so it's up to you. With the Prohormones, again, not too much of an effect on it. As we were speaking earlier, maybe it's going to cut the half-life down a little bit, but it shouldn't have too much of an effect. Personally, I would try not to do either, because I want get the most results out of these tablets, but if you have to, I just wanted to clear the air, give you a little bit more information about how that would react.
John:
For anybody who does want to do that, I think we still have the Best Price Nutrition pill splitters-
Jeff:
Do we?
John:
... on the website.
Jeff:
Oh, wow.
John:
So if I can find those, I'm pretty sure we still got them in back, but I'll link to those if anybody is interested in splitting their tablets.
Jeff:
Okay. So yeah, there you go. Hopefully that answers your question because we get it a lot, but if you still have more questions about that, please post it down below. I can always try to answer them or even talk to Hi-Tech again. If you enjoyed this video, please give us a thumbs up. If you want more videos like this, hit that subscribe button.
