The Best Cheap/Frugal Supplements
Video Transcription:
John:
Hey guys, John and Jeff with Best Price Nutrition. You can visit the website at bestpricenutrition.com. I saw a heavily searched topic on YouTube was the best low-budget supplements and being a cheapskate myself, this is right up my alley. So we put together, we tried to kind of hit some different categories, vitamins, sleep, aminos, pre-workouts, protein. We got some budget-friendly supplements for you guys. Obviously, everything costs more these days. Got to cutback somewhere, people got less money to spend on supplements. So here are some really good budget-friendly supplements.
Jeff:Yeah, I think this is a great idea, John, and just, yeah, in today's world everything's expensive, so we're going to give you guys some options of less expensive products that also can make an impact on your workouts.
John:
We are seeing more companies are kind of catering to this category. Obviously Rule One did like the right around 20 bucks. Cbum has his essential line of fat burners, pre-workouts. Somebody, Apollon, put out Desperado, which is a little more expensive, but a lot of people are starting to cater to the frugal supplement buyers.
Jeff:
Which is fine. So as you mentioned, the first one, if you need a pre-workout, the Rule One Roar. It's not a huge massive amount of stims, but it's got some good ingredients and it's about $21.99 at bestpricenutrition.com. So good option for a pre-workout.
John:
Yeah, and like we said in a couple of other videos, if you're normally taking a energized amino supplement just to be cheaper or because you don't like a ton of stims, something like this gives you a well-rounded pre-workout but at a lower price point and lower stims.
Jeff:
Yes.
John:
Next, this is one of my favorites, Insane Labz Demon Dust.
Jeff:
Crazy one.
John:
People love this one. It is a dry scoop pre-workout, so no water, no shaker bottles, just dry scoop. I think we've done a video of this one. You got a 730 milligram blend of, you got some beta-alanine, caffeine, ampiberry, which Insane Labz is known for. Choline nootropic, that oxygold fulvic acid.
Jeff:
Does it tell you how much caffeine's in there? Or you just got to guess with that dry scoop?
John:
I think we have it listed on a website. I want to say it's out there.
Jeff:
All right.
John:
But over the years it has still stayed at like 19 bucks.
Jeff:
Yeah, it's one of the few dry scoopers. Next for protein, the APS IsoMorph 28. This is a whey protein isolate, which is usually more expensive, but this one, we even have one pounders that start at $19.49. I think this one's right around 28, $29 and you just can't eat that for a whey protein isolate these days.
John:
Especially when a lot of people call up and say, "What gives me the most protein?" 28 grams of protein, is especially nice.
Jeff:
Which is crazy for a serving and you get 27 servings in here, so you almost got a month's worth. Again-
John:
A ton of flavors too.
Jeff:
Yeah. Oh, yeah. And it's actually good for a whey protein is isolate too, so it's only, how many calories as well? 130 calories. So definitely a great budget-friendly, not even a budget-friendly, this is great protein overall.
John:
Okay, I'll hit the next two because these are both kind of in the amino category. So we got Hi-Tech Off the Chain, which is like an energized amino. This is going to be like Optimum Nutrition amino energy or a NutraBio Amino Kick. We do have a little bit more caffeine in some of the others. This one has 160, whereas normally they have right around 100 and I believe this is like $19.95, under 20 bucks. And then another cost-effective one, Zhou, really clean company, vegan. They actually got probiotics in here, clean formula. They don't really use artificial sweeteners, colors, preservatives, and this one is only $20.53. You get your aminos, you also get some probiotics, vitamin C, three grams of protein. Not a huge dose, but you got some citrulline malate, organic beet, which we just got done talking about the beetroot and coconut water for hydration. So really great formula for what? 20 bucks?
Jeff:
Yep. Next for all the guys my age in your 40s, upper 30s and you want some test boosters or you don't want to break the bank. NOW Foods has a great TestoJack, which is available in different sizes and dosages from one, two or 300. I think they range from around, what is it, 15 to $20. But tongkat ali is just great for increasing testosterone levels naturally where you don't need a PCT. So it's very cheap. If you just want to try to get something to boost you up a little bit, make you feel better.
John:
Their one, two and 300 are straight tongkat ali, but they do have another 200 that's got some maca, maybe some horny goat weed, a whole lot of the men's performance ingredients in there.
Jeff:
Next is Bestest. Now Bestest is $39.95. You're probably saying, hey, that's not budget friendly, but this thing is packed for what you get for 39.95. So you're going to get Fadogia, you're going to get the tongkat ali, you're going to get ashwagandha and you're going to get the Zinc at huge dosages.
John:
I think it's KSM-66 too.
Jeff:
Yes, exactly. You're going to get, this is overall the best test booster you can get for the price and maybe just the best test booster.
John:
This blend here is popular among a number of brands and you can easily pay 20 or $30 more for basically the same formula.
Jeff:
Yeah, definitely. If you're looking, really you're thinking about TRT, you're thinking about a pro-hormone, you want to try something natural first, I highly stress you try Bestest, $39.95 shipped from Best Price Nutrition. Awesome deal.
John:
Let's see, what do we got? We got multivitamins. Lot of people like taking a multivitamin. This is NOW Foods Daily Vits. One thing I like about NOW Foods, a lot of customers who come into store used to love certain brands and then don't like them, because they sold out to the big, big pharma or other companies, Nestle. NOPW Foods is still a family-owned company, solid multivitamin here. And what do we got for the price point? $10.95 for a 100 day supply.
Jeff:
That's a really good deal.
John:
Yeah, NOW Foods Daily Vits.
Jeff:
Okay. If you're like me and you have trouble sleeping, Sleep-Rx right here, great product for sleep. With all sleep supplements, you don't want to be taking them every day. And if you're like me, you've been trying to, or you have weaned yourself off melatonin. Melatonin just makes you groggy. And there's even a new research out that it's not very good for testosterone levels. So Sleep-Rx is a great one. You may think, oh it's teeny. There are 30 pills in here. Take one to two before you need to go to sleep. But it has valerian Root, kava, L-theanine, and a few other ingredients and it's melatonin free. And it's $14.95, so you're probably getting about a month's worth of sleep for under $15.
John:
And I'm just realizing I forgot to grab our last product, but our last product is one of my personal favorites. NOW Food Psyllium Husk, they have a whole different bunch of them. They got capsules, they got powders. I'd recommend doing the powder just because you're never going to get that much of a bulky ingredient like that in a capsule. But I think you get a pound for $8.99 or something like that. Everybody I tell about, fiber, is sold on it and then they tell everybody they know. Ghost poops, amazing. Never bloated, great digestion. It's one of my favorite supplements.
Jeff:
All right, I think that's it. I think we covered a lot of different categories. Everything you need to feel good, work out well, recover better, sleep well. It's all here. It's all on bestpricenutrition.com. Are we going to try to link to all these or how are we going to do this?
John:
Yeah, we'll link to them down below.
Jeff:
