Dr Swole Kiwi Lemonade Preworkout Review

Dr Swole Kiwi Lemonade Preworkout Review
Dr Swole Kiwi Lemonade Preworkout

Dr. Swole Nutrition is a newer supplement brand which rolled out their first supplement Dr Swole Preworkout back on July 9 of this year. We recently got our hands on a sample tub of Dr Swole Preworkout in their Kiwi Lemonade flavor and wanted to give you a rundown of the product, as well as review our experience taking this new preworkout. The flavor was out of this world, it was on of the tastiest preworkouts I've ever tried and the flavor was unique and something I haven't seen from another brand. As far as the effects and the quality of my workout taking it, that was pretty great as well. So let's get into this...

DR. SWOLE PRE-WORKOUT INGREDIENT OVERVIEW

So in the supplement world today many brands seem set on continually upping the stims putting huge amount of caffeine and DMHA into their preworkouts and mega dosing supplements with insane amounts of citrulline and beta alanine. When we first got in Dr Swole, while it looked like a solid formula, it didn't jump out as being some insanely stimmed out pre, though personally I'm not a stim head so I appreciate a modestly dosed preworkout when it comes to stims. While Dr Swole doesn't feature DMHA at all or insane amounts of caffeine, it did provide a plenty of energy and the most noticeable aspect of Dr Swole Pre for me personally was the Eria Jarensis. The first day I took it I was not at all motivated to workout and even thought about skipping the gym, but within about 10 minutes of taking Dr Swole on my drive to the gym, I felt the Eria Jarensis (N,N Phenethyl Dimethylamine) kick in and immediately felt not only a rush of energy, but a renewed sense of motivation to hit the gym and I was actually excited for my workout. So let's get into the formula.

Dr Swole Ingredients and Supplement Facts

So taking a look at the formula above, for pumps we have a hefty dose of 4500mg of L-Citrulline as well as 1500mg of Betaine Anhydrous, and 250mg of Beet Extract, all nitric oxide boosters and pump ingredients to help promote blood flow which brings more nutrients and oxygen to the muscles and provides a nice muscle pump which is both visually appealing and motivating. For those of you who like "The Tingles' Dr Swole contains 2000mg of Beta Alanine which is a little under the 2300mg of Beta Alanine most preworkouts have, and enough to be noticeable. Personally I'm not a fan of the ingredient Beta Alanine or the tingles it brings, but it wasn't enough to annoy me. For the Nootropics or focus factor of this preworkout we have 400mg of L-Carnitine, 250mg of Alpha GPC, 200mg of Caffeine, and 150mg of Eria Jarensis. The caffeine provides enough energy to get you going without giving you the jitters or being too much, the 150mg of Eria Jarensis provides some energy but mainly motivation and a mood boost, and 100mg of L-Theanine to kind of mellow out and balance out the stims.

DR. SWOLE PRE-WORKOUT REVIEW

So let me start by saying I loved Dr Swole Preworkout. The flavor of Kiwi Lemonade is a unique flavor I haven't seen before from another brand. A lot of companies have done Blackberry or Strawberry Lemonades, but I've yet to see a Kiwi Lemonade and the flavor was spot on. In terms of effects, on the day I took Dr Swole Preworkout I wasn't feeling like working out, I was feeling lazy, a bit unmotivated, and a little bit down. I mixed up a shaker on my way out the door from the office and about halfway through my 15 minute drive to the gym it kind of occured to me I was in better spirits, I was motivated and I was actually looking forward to my workout.

I'm someone who's stim sensitive so stronger preworkouts can tend to be either make me jittery, or even worse nauseous, but didn't experience either of those things after taking Dr Swole, the 200mg of caffeine seemed to be enough energy to put a bit of pep in my step, but not too much, and I think the L-Theanine really balanced out the caffeine and eria jarensis. Sometimes I tend to get bored or unmotivated at about the hour mark of my workout however the combination of the Alpha GPC, Caffeine and Eria Jarensis seemed to keep me focused on my workout and motivated to keep going, I think I wrapped up my workout at about an hour and fourty minutes which is longer than I typically stay at the gym.

Beyond that Dr Swole Preworkout provided a nice pump and had me sweating more than normal during my workout. Overall I'm a huge fan of this preworkout, the taste was amazing and it was a well rounded preworkout that gave me energy, focus, had me motivated and sweating in the gym. I had a great workout and will likely continue using Dr Swole on days I need a little kick in the but, generally whenever possible I try to skip stims and preworkouts unless I actually need them, I don't like making a daily habit out of taking them. I'd definitely recommend checking out Dr Swole, and while we don't yet carry it here at Best Price Nutrition, we'll likely be bringing it in sometime in the coming weeks.
