Tik Tok trends are nothing new, but as opposed to another dance challenge, this is one of the first viral fitness challenges to hit the new and fast growing social media platform Tik Tok. The results we've been seeing online have been nothing short of amazing.

The Tik Tok 12-3-30 Workout seems to have come from a social media personality by the name of Lauren Giraldo who originally posted this workout. She says she came up with the workout after hitting the gym and feeling intimitaded by all the equipment, the treadmill seemed like an easy piece of equipment to use and she began playing around with the settings, which is how she stumbled up the 12-3-30 workout. To date the video has garnered more than 12 million views and over 2.5 million likes. Lauren has also experienced great success with this new training method of hers, she's lost over 30 pounds to date. While the 12-3-30 workout seems to have been working for her, she said the best thing that's come of it is that she's now less intimidated and more comfortable in the gym and is venturing out to other machines, weights, and equipment.

Is the 12-3-30 Workout a miracle workout that's gong to have you looking like a bodybuilder or physique athlete? Probably, not, but if you've packed on a bit of lockdown weight, and aren't that comfortable in the gym, it could be a great way to get your foot in the door while not feeling overwhelmed.
