Oh, yeah, and also, and also. Wedding Singer's good though. Today we are going to go over the new flavor of Ghost Energy. These came out last year and we're slowly starting to get them in. They were a GNC exclusive, at least Ghost is, but we can get their RTD energy drinks and today we're going to try one out. I think we already tried one on the channel, didn't we?

John:
Yeah, I think we had one of the Sour Patch ones.

Brad:
Yeah, the red one. It was good.

John:
You know what, everyone online is saying that it's the best tasting energy drink on the market right now.

Brad:
I would have to agree with them because even though it's sweet, sometimes the sweet will kick you right here too much and it turns me off of it, but that's just a good sweet, it's not overpowering.

John:
You know what's kind of funny? I was just talking to somebody about this the other day, but it's crazy, the transition of the energy drink space. You look back at Red Bull, I remember Red Bull gives you wings, they were the coolest drinks. And when you look at those, it's what, 110 milligrams of caffeine? It's barely more than a Coca-Cola or something.

Brad:
30 grams of sugar.

John:
Then we had the super powered energy drinks like Bang and the 300 milligrams and a lot of these. I think this with the 200 is the sweet spot. It's better than a soda or a Red Bull, but it's not going to give you a headache, it's not going to make you feel crazy.

Brad:
Yeah, it definitely is a pendulum when it swings from high sugar, low caffeine to super high caffeine, no sugar to right in the middle. Middle caffeine, nootropics, actual good stuff in there.

John:
That's another thing you mentioned. Everyone's starting to put in the [inaudible 00:02:47] or the super creatine and the BCAAs. And it seems like even a lot of traditional brands, I think I was telling you earlier Mountain Dew is rolling out their own kind of iteration of this.

Brad:
Coke did too I think.

John:
Oh yeah, Coke, 3D Energy. So yeah, a lot of-

Brad:
Bucked Up even has their own.

John:
Oh yeah, Bucked Ups are excellent. And if these guys are subscribed, there might be something going on with Bucked Up next week.

Brad:
Who knows? We do. So the new flavor is citrus. Like John said, 200 caffeine, 100 milligrams of NeuroFactor, 150 milligrams of alpha GPC, which is actually a very expensive ingredient so it's kind of cool that it's in there, and then a gram of carnitine as the form of carnipure. All right.

John:
I'm excited to try this, although it's got tough shoes to fill after the Sour Patch Kids.

Brad:
It smells exactly like Mountain Dew.

John:
That's really good.

Brad:
Oh, that is good. It kind of hits me right here, but it's not bad.

John:
What does it taste like? It's got a very familiar... Is it like a Sprite or a Slice or something like that?

Brad:
Sprite.

John:
Is it Sprite or Slice?

Brad:
It's like a mix of Sprite with a hint of Mountain Dew.

John:
You know what this kind of reminds me of? There's a drink I like called Ting, T-I-N-G.

Brad:
Ting?

John:
It's big down in the Caribbean, kind of like Ting.

Brad:
Yeah, it tastes like it could be in line with a Sprite, a Mountain Dew-

John:
Sierra Mist.

Brad:
Sierra Mist, that might be what it is.

John:
And like you said, it's not overly sweet, it's not overly sour. It's just very smooth.

Brad:
It almost tastes like a Diet Sprite, or I guess a diet something like that.

John:
I don't pick up any chemical taste or anything like that.

Brad:
No. What sweetener do they use?

John:
Is it sucralose?

Brad:
There's also ginseng in here. It has Astrigen. I don't know.

John:
You know what I've noticed about a lot of these energy drinks? So I know Bang and a lot of the other guys are zero calorie, this is only five calorie, I noticed when they have even a minimal amount of calories you get a much smoother, kind of more natural taste to it.

Brad:
Yeah, yeah.

John:
And really who cares about it? I mean, it's what?

Brad:
Five calories.

John:
40% of a Tic Tac?

Brad:
Yeah. Yeah. And it looks like they use ASK, the acesulfame potassium. Some people don't like it, but I think if you're drinking energy drinks... If you want like a very healthy legit one go for Bird Brain.

John:
Bird Brain? Yeah.

Brad:
Bird Brain. Otherwise it's usually natural caffeine. ASK, it's really not the worst. There's really no hard studies that show a direct link between most artificial sweeteners and really bad side effects. Some people get headaches, which I guess can come from things. But as far as detrimental, there's really no actual link between sucralose or ASK and negative outcomes. A lot of times the people who tend to drink a lot of things with ASK or sucralose tend to also live not so organic lifestyles, so those kinds of coincide but it's not really a direct link, if that makes sense. Yeah, I don't like this as much as I like the other one, but the other one is just such a wild flavor. You have to know what you're getting into.

John:
I love the Sour Patch flavors, this seems to be just kind of more of an everyday drink, a little bit more so than the other one.

Brad:
Yeah. The other one's almost like a dessert with how incredibly flavorful it is.

John:
Absolutely.

Brad:
Yeah, this is good though. I like this.

John:
I'd be curious to try the mango. I know they got a mango, I don't think we've got that one in yet, but I think they have a mango flavor as well.

Brad:
Yeah. There's a mango, there's a blue Sour Patch, and I think there's-

John:
Red Sour Patch, right?

Brad:
There's red and blue.

John:
Red, blue, citrus, and mango.

Brad:
Is that it?

John:
Yeah, I think so. Yeah.

Brad:
Yeah. So the more availability they have to get in, we will get them in and we will have them. Right now we do have citrus, we have the red Sour Patch, what's the other one we have? Orange?

John:
Citrus, red Sour Patch, and then I can't think of it, I think there was a third one.

Brad:
Maybe it is mango. I don't know. But we do have three of them in now so if you want them, pick them up on our site, Best Price Nutrition. Yeah. That's about all I got.

Yeah. I know we've been kind of calling this out a little bit in recent videos, but if anybody... I know energy drinks is a fun category that everybody kind of likes.
