Inspired LGND It's NOT a Test Booster

You may have seen a recent video we did where we kind of introduced this new brand, or at least a brand that's new to us ...

Brad:
Inspired Nutra.

John:
Inspired Nutra. We did a quick overview of all of their offerings, but we wanted to go through one by one. So we're going to be taking a look at LGND. What do they call this? They call this a premium muscle potentiator, it seems to be kind of a mix between a test booster and a muscle builder.

Brad:
It's not a test booster. So as we made that joke in the last video and in this one, I'm just going to read on the side, it says, "This isn't a test booster. I mean, sure. It has ingredients that have been studied and proven to do so, but that isn't what you seek in LGND, but it is different. LGND is more." It's very flowery after that, I'm not going to keep going into it, but basically it's like a muscle builder type deal. Some of the ingredients that we have in here, we have KSM-66 ashwagandha, which is like the most studied version, 800 milligrams. That's a very good dose.

John:
That's a hefty dose.

Brad:
That's-

John:
I take a thousand a night, but, yeah, that's ...

Brad:
Yeah.

John:
Most stuff you see has four to 600.

Brad:
Yeah. Yeah. So you're definitely getting a full dose of ashwagandha in there, which is really, really good for lowering cortisol, helping with stress. The lower cortisol you have, the more testosterone you have, the less water that you hold. It just does a bunch of other things for you. But in this case, it's trying to increase your testosterone. Longjack extract, which is also known as Tongkat Ali, which is the very currently popular testosterone boosting ingredient, thanks to ... What was his name on Joe Rogan? Kupperman?

John:
Yeah, I believe it was Kupperman.

Brad:
Something like that.

John:
Yeah. We had talked, we were going to make a video kind of specifically about that ...

Brad:
Yeah.

John:
But basically, he was saying that for something that's pretty ...

Brad:
Cheap and basic.

John:
Cheap, basic ingredient, you can see a boost of a hundred to 300 points boosting your testosterone by taking, I think they'd wanted 400 milligrams a day.

Brad:
Yeah. Yeah. And just to put it into perspective, a hundred to 300, a hundred to 300 points of your testosterone, the normal quote-unquote range of testosterone is 300 to 900 nanograms per deciliter. So you can easily put this up well, like if you have very low testosterone and you take something like this, this can put you up over the normal range, or maybe even push you into the high range, which is pretty, pretty significant.

John:
And I've seen some other studies that say the ashwagandha can boost your test about a hundred points.

Brad:
Yeah.

John:
So yeah, I mean, we've got some good ingredients in here, just off the first two.

Brad:
Absolutely. And then there is PurpleForce. It's a trademarked purple tea extract. The actual name is Camillea sinensis. And basically what this does is it inhibits your body's ability to add fat on. I don't know how effective ... I don't think you could just eat and eat and eat. I think it's going to mitigate some fat accumulation. So that's going to be good. Again, this isn't all tests boosting stuff. It's things that are going to help build muscle, make you look better, make you feel better.

Brad:
Then we have Laxosterone, which is a trademark version of laxogenin, at a hundred milligrams, which is a good dose. That's pretty standard. Laxogenin is a non-hormonal muscle builder, so that's kind of where they're really getting into the premium muscle potentiator type deal, not just testosterone ingredients that are going to help just start muscle protein synthesis, help you build muscle.

Brad:
Cocoabuterol, which is cocoa extract. This is kind of a fat-burning ingredient. You really only see it in fat burners. This is the first time I've seen it in a muscle builder type deal. But this is probably going to go alongside that PurpleForce ingredient as well.

John:
It seems like the focus here is like kind of lean muscle mass.

Brad:
Yeah, exactly. Kind of leaning out, putting on muscle at the same time, not being too intense in any one direction. When I say not being too intense, I mean, it's not like a full on balls to the wall test booster pro-hormone, SARM, or anything like that. It's using very, very good ingredients here, very natural stuff.

Brad:
AstraGin, which is Panax ginseng and astragalus, that's going to help you absorb everything a little bit better. We also have BioPerine, BioPerine, whatever you want to call it. That's going to help you absorb everything a little bit better, and then horny goat weed extract at 50 milligrams.

John:
Have you ever taken a horny goat weed extract?

Brad:
I have not. Have you?

John:
I did. It made me really nauseous and I thought I was going to have a heart attack, but I think most of the ... You know, horny goat weed is kind of like ... What's the ingredient that I like? The fat burner stimulant.

Brad:
The pro [GBB paradoxin 00:05:25]?

John:
No, no, it's ... Yohimbe.

Brad:
Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

John:
It's kind of like Yohimbe. It's a great ingredient if it's not overdosed, and I think the dosage in here is very low.

Brad:
Yeah.

John:
It's probably going to give you a little extra blood flow, a little bit of energy, but I don't think it's going to...

Brad:
Yeah.

John:
Make you crazy.

Brad:
I mean, I think it's supposed to be like a blood flow stimulant type deal. It's just a lot of times it's sold as a libido type deal, which is probably why it works that way, to increase blood flow, get you all hopped up. Probably get you to move for something. But yeah, all of these ingredients, really, really good. Like you said, leaning out, burning fat, increasing muscle, all working together, increasing your testosterone. It's a good overall product to take. This is like one of their, if not their ... Actually, I think their pre-workouts, their most popular, this is definitely up there with their most popular products.

John:
Yes. I think I would like to try this one out.

Brad:
Yeah. Yeah. I would too, actually. I mean, it's got great reviews online. I don't know how much it is. I'm not going to say a price on here, because it could be totally wrong. I remember when I saw it, I thought, "Wow, that's very reasonable." specifically because of the longjack and the ashwagandha and the laxogenin all being in there. Those aren't necessarily crazy expensive ingredients, but they're really good ingredients. And usually if you see a blend like that, with really good ingredients, they really jack up the price more than they have to, and they didn't do it with this.

John:
