Great alternative to shakes! review by Chickthatlifts on 3/21/2014
As a women's physique competitor, my protein requirements are pretty high. And while I have a multitude of protein powders in many flavors available at my fingertips, it's great to have an alternative.
Since this mixes pretty thick, it's actually more filling and satisfying that a regular protein shake. I go for the vanilla pudding and I sometimes play with the flavoring by adding a little pb2 or sugar free flavored syrup. And if I still have to hit my protein macros, I'll even add another flavored protein powder-last night I had cinnamon roll flavored pudding! My only critique is that you have to measure the water carefully. It's easy to add water if it's too thick for you, but once the water is in there you can't remove it.
Price may be an issue for some. I mean, you can get a 2 lb. tub of protein powder for the same price that has more servings, but when you consume protein powder the way I do, it's good to have choices.
