This is probably the best protein on the market today. It tastes delicious and it's very effective. It has added BCAAs for recovery and you get a lot of servings. Great tasting and easily mixes with milk

Have tried a number of different protein powders but always end up going back to this protein powder. It easily mixes with milk and the taste of the Vanilla is excellent. For the price and taste, this is a well worthwhile product to add to your workout routine.

Great Protein

Where do i begin with this review. Optimum nutrition protein is probably on the best proteins on the market and the price is unbeatable. I buy like 2-3 at a time. I love the taste and the price. It has a lot of protein in it to. I love all of their products but especially the protein. I dont like alot of the proteins on the market because of the taste but this is a great product. No complaints.

Optimum nutrition has gained a respected reputation over that past few years. I have been a fan of many of their products, especial those along the lines of recovery. Gold standard whey comes in a decent range of good tasting protein powders. Chocholate and vanilla are almost always a good choice, but they have flavors like banana creme and cookies and cream if you are interested. With 24 grams of protein per scoop and 1g of fat to 1 gram of sugars per serving, it is hard to go wrong with this choice. Overall a well rounded good tasting product for a decent price. It is protein powder and as long as it helps you recover (its job) theres not much more to it.

Great protein

This is one of the most popular protein powders on the market and for good reason. The nutritional profile is amazing, good amount of protein and almost no fat. Gold Standard whey is great for recovering after hard workouts or do get your morning started with a protein shake. Not only is this product effective for recovery and daily protein intake, but it also tastes great. They have ton of flavors on the market so they really have something for everyone. My personal favorite is the extreme milk chocolate.

Great protein

Profile is really good. Most of my friends use this protein and love it. I know quality of this products is high. I have only tried milk chocolate and TBH didn't like it much. Would say 8/10. Texture was also on the thinner side (prefer thick). Overall it's a solid protein and would definitely suggest.

Me and my husband use this for very different reasons and we are both satisfied. I use it for meal replacement and I've lost 10 lbs. My husband uses it for bulking and has gained 10. The taste is awesome. My daughter even says it taste like chocolate milk. Definitely a great product.

One of the best there is

This protein powder definitely is one of the top 3 proteins. However, at large proportions it tends to give me gas. The flavor is great and the muscle development is phenomenal. Great product!

A good protein

I love the ON products and this protein doesn't disappoint when you take it regularly. It tastes great (I like vanilla) and mixes easily with fruit, oats, yogurt, and other stuff. This is pretty expensive and there are others out there just as effective at a cheaper price. With that said, I have always enjoyed ON products and will recommend to a friend.

Quality Product That Doesn't Disappoint

Quality = Top Notch! Clear product labeling, no hidden "blends". Mixability = Perfect. Shaker bottle recommended but not required. Flavor = I kid you not it tastes JUST like chocolate milk with an "extreme" amount of chocolate. :) Texture = Blends smooth with no grit left to wash out at the bottom of the glass. Highly recommended for supplemental protein intake and general daily nutrition requirements.

The taste of this whey protein gold was pretty good. I really like cooking with it and mixing it in oatmeal. Powder mixes great with little to no clumps. Even mixes well with water. I have seen an increase in my overall strength and size in the time I've been using it. Awesome product

Overall, this is just an average protein. Because it's Optimum brand, it will be very popular, but it's just not that great. I always used this when I was younger because it was the only one I knew, but there are so many better ones out there. This doesn't even have a very good taste. If you take it with water, it's not good. The price is just ok.

I started using this protein powder a while ago, I don't use it much anymore though, I mainly purchase isolate protein powders. I believe this is the best "****-for-your-buck" type of protein!

Variety of flavours

If you hang around long enough you may hear of various issues with protein companies claiming higher percentages of protein and under-delivering. However Optimum is a reputable brand. The protein is an isolate/concentrate blend. It is quite thin, so best for shakes but not for baking. ON has a good variety of flavours and you can rest assured that you are getting what you have paid for. Recommended.
