Optimum Nutrition Platinum HydroWhey is great, taste is great, visible effectiveness is amazing. I am taking this along with the pre-workout supplement jack3d and I am only 15 years old. However, i don't give supplements good reviews easily. when I say something works, there's proof to it. Its only been a month since I started recovering from an entire summer of doing nothing and I'm already back into shape. The real reason this product works in my mind though is because Im doing the same exercises I did a year ago, with much greater results. Also, recovery after a workout is much faster. I rarely feel sore the next day.

im a repeat buyer of this product. feel great recovery, lifting more, and also i gained few pounds which is usually hard for me to do. tastes pretty good as well.

Directions

Simply add one scoop of Platinum Hydro whey to a blender, shaker cup or glass filled with 12 ounces of cold water, milk or juice. Blend, shake, or stir for 20 to 30 seconds or until powder is dissolved.

No more effective than any other Whey

A very tasty, though extremely thin whey. It would be good to add to shakes along with a base like yogurt (or if you simply cannot stomach lactose but want whey). Don't get caught up in the hype though. You will not benefit more from hydrowhey over regular whey. It is filtered to a greater degree, and so if you cannot stomach the lactose of regular whey it may sit better with you, but you aren't going to experience greater results by supplementing with this. I wouldn't persuade anyone from buying it, but don't expect the world.

Very good protein!

This is a great protein powder. I like this one much better than Optimum's normal whey protein. it tastes better, has more protein, and I have found that it shows better results. Because of this, I am a big fan of this product, although I am not a fan of most Optimum products. Definitely give this one a try.

High Quality Protein

Higher quality of protein than your normal run of the mill protein. Taste is superb and the macros are good. ON never seems to put out a bad product.

Great food soiurce

Whey isn't a supplement so much as it is a food source. Yes, it shouldn't take the place of all food in your diet, but it is a convenient way to achieve daily protein targets, is a cheap (per serve) way to get your protein, and has the widest range of BCAAs of all protein sources (better than meats, vegetables, etc). Optimum is a reputable company which is widely used among the bodybuilding community, and that makes me trust them, especially in this age where every other week a company is accused of lying about the true protein content of their products. As other reviewers have stated though, there are diminishing returns when going from Concentrate->Isolate->Hydro, so don't assume the extra money for hydro is worth it over ON's regular Gold Standard (hence my one star for using again).

I'm a fan of free shaker cups got one free with purchase and This is a really high quality protein. It mixes really well, and it is very macro friendly! If you are reading reviews, move on. Don't get me wrong, it is awesome, but it is way more than what most people will ever need. Whey is one of the most bioavailable proteins there is, using an Isolate won't give you greater gains than a Concentrate, nor will a Hydrowhey do you better than an Isolate. Suit it to your macros, and your wallet. It is just to make sure you are getting adequate protein.Quantity over quality.

Taste awesome

Great product from ON. Mixes really well with water and taste awesome! It is basically a more refined whey protein with more protein and less carbs/fat than regular Gold Standard. Fast recovery and def recommend.

Awesome Product!

Terrific flavor for on the go protien mix, even adds flavor to your greek yogurt or morning oats if mixed properly. I typically apply vanilla almond milk and let it sit overnight with some chia seeds for a delicious breakfast. This product mixes well, doesn't clump, tastes good, but yes is pricey. You get what you pay for! Hydrowhey produced fantastic results, highly recommended.

Taste good

The difference between this & the gold standard is a very big. Even though the taste is better, it clumps which i s a downside. I blend it with a tablespoon of peanut butter and or blend it up with some ice & a banana for an amazing refreshment. This product is also very pricey.

Great Protein!!

HydroWhey is easily mixed, good post workout and tastes good as well. Also, for me it was a bonus that the amount of cholesterol is lower than other whey protein powders. Also, it has removed all that muscle pain I had before, I wake up feeling gread every morning and so other great benefits. I really recommend for you to buy this protein! You will not regret it!
