Optimum Amino Energy Reviews
This product delivers on all counts--mixes well with water, tastes great, delivers a noticeable boost quickly and it's very economically priced. What's not to like?
Really liked this product. Typical pwo's give me unpleasant side effects. This is not as intense as it relies on good old fashioned caffeine. Also contains beta alanine and arginine which I like and of course bcaa's. I drink 4 scoops pwo, sometimes 1 or 2 scoops throughout the day.
I tried this as a sample pack for sipping on during my workout. I mixed it up with some water in a bottle. I noticed that it gave me a nice clean extra energy boost during my workout. There was no crash after-wards or headaches.
The ingredient profile is pretty good except for the Arginine which is useless.
The Grape flavor is very good and enjoyable to drink. It's not the best flavor i've tried but certainly one of the better ones!

Great! I love this product because it gives me energy and hydrates my body. It pumps me up and helps when I have sugar cravings. I will repurchase and you should too.
Optimum nutrition's amino energy has been my long-time go too supplement. It has enough caffeine to give you energy, and aminos to help you recover throughout your day. It's easy to use as it can be taken at any part of the day and the flavors are great. It is also a good supplement to a preworkout when you are not taking the full dose of something.
Very good pre and post workout Very Recommend , you won't be disappointed
Love the taste and smooth energy boost pre-workout. One scoop is enough, two are turbo. Tastes are excellent, warmly recommended for hardcore athlete.
I took a sample packet of this that contained TWO servings before a workout. I do not recommend taking this as a pre-workout supplement. Yeah, it has caffeine but there is no ingredient for focus. This will make you more alert but won't give you the rage or drive to hit the weights that other pre-workout supps deliver. So just take it as advertised as an amino supp, maybe for a morning/midday boost. It's a pretty average product.
Well, if you're looking for a cheap product, renowned brand quality, which is a muscle builder, lasts quite although not the best, is far from being much worse the better so, after all this amino has both BCAAs + the adn's and not to mention that the formula has no problem to entry of this product according to Anvisa, because its formula is completely legal
I have been supplementing this product for the past 6 years. Amino energy gives you a good jump to your day or kick-start to a workout. I use this product on days that I do cardio as my only supplement. I have used this as a preworkout for strength training days and sometimes stack this with preworkout supplements low in caffeine. I also feel a difference in recovery when I am using this product consistently. And for what it matters, just about every flavor is pretty good (blue-raspberry is my favorite, fruit fusion is probably the worst.)
I originally bought this product to take something legal during my training as an NCAA athlete. Amino energy gave me a good clean energy and helped a lot with recovery. This supplement mixes very well and so far all the flavors have tasted pretty good (blue razz, grape, orange, fruit punch, pineapple, green apple, watermelon). If you are looking for something to give you some energy, help keep you going during a workout, and aid in recovery, this is a great product. It also mixes well with other workouts. I continue to buy this and would recommend this product.
Optimum nutrition makes high quality products and this one also fits the bill. I really like this product. The blue raz is a very good flavor. It doesnt have a ton of the big 3 essential amino acids but 5 grams total is not too bad. I usually use this preworkout to take advantage of the natural caffeine, it gives me pretty good energy.
BCAA's performance is hard to rate but the caffeine energy in ON's product are clean and subtle. They do not hit you hard or leave you with jitters afterward, instead they keep you going throughout long workouts. The grape is awesome and mixes well.
I take this Amino Energy during my workout, not as a pre-workout. It gives me the right amount of energy to get thru my workout. Orange is my favorite flavor. Just make sure you don't use this 4 hrs before you are going to sleep since it does have caffeine in it.
I drink this during my work outs and it gives me a good burst of energy during my works. I suggest not to take this 4 hrs before you go to sleep or else you will have a hard time falling asleep. It does have caffeine in it. I usually substitute this for my pre-work out supplement.
Overall, this is a great product. I always use this for my pre-workout. It doesn't give me that unwanted buzz, but I always have enough energy to get through my energy. If I am bulking, I will only use one scoop. If I'm cutting and going low on carbs, I'll go up to 2 scoops. This is more than enough, and this way you save it and it doesn't run out quickly.
If you want to keep a lean muscle look and not have that buff look protein gives you, EAA are the best way to go. You have all the essential aminos you need in Amino Energy to keep your body anabolic. I saw leaner gains compared to protein. With this the aminos that are more used for energy or muscle than the protein, cause some of the protein converts to fat. This is also the best way to add more aminos to your protein if you are in a bulk diet.
Overall, this is a great product. The majority of Optimum's products are average, but this is different. I am always using this. I only use one scoop before working out, so it lasts for a long time. It gives me energy to get through the workout but doesn't make me feel bad. I also take it throughout the day whenever I am feeling tired. Definitely get this product!
This product give the right amount of energy. It does not give you that jittery feeling like other products.
My friend had turned me on to Amino Energy and I swear by it. It gives me an amazing push of energy for my workouts and doesn't leave me drained afterwards. I'm not just using this for fat loss, I'm using it for overall health as well. I haven't felt this great in years!
Amino Energy is great for a morning energy drink or a pre workout energizer. I take lower than the recommended amount in the morning for an great wakeup, and add a few scoops pre workout for great energy and pump. My only problem is that, like many other caffeine driven supplements, its effectiveness slows the longer you take it. May need to take a few weeks in between tubs! Nice job Optimum!
Currently using this during longer workouts and it gives me the extra boost I need to do cardio after my weights session. Concorde Grape AMino Energy tastes incredible.
Amino Energy works great for pre-workout energy. Nice boost, no crash. Only downside is you eventually build up a tolerance and have to use more at a time.
