Rinse for at least one minute with ½ tablespoon (½ to one fluid ounce or 15–30 ml), two to three times daily.

There is no way to know how effective this is because I use a tea tree oil toothpaste as well but it tastes good and it does not have the harmful ingredients that mainstream mouthwash has. I have used a tee tree oil mouth wash as well and I like the taste of this better. Life Extention claims to be a non profit so I trust them a bit more than Proctor and Gambel.
