Decent for non-organic review by David on 7/13/2014
I tried these chia seeds because I had the chance to get them for free. I wondered what was special about white chia seeds.
First of all, they are NOT organic, as is represented in the product description and the benefits list. The flavor is good; I can't tell much, if any, difference between the flavor of these seeds and that of other brands' organic black/multi-colored chia seeds--chia seeds don't have much of a "flavor" to start with. If there is an unpleasant, fishy, or rancid flavor, watch out!
Typically, "white" almost anything indicates lack of or stripped out nutrition (not always!), and the deeper the color, the more nutrients and antioxidants (note, I said "typically"; not speaking universally here). Since I can find black/multi-colored chia seeds that are ORGANIC for the same or better price than these, I will not be purchasing them again.
Nothing against this product, per se, but if organic and full-spectrum is available for the same money, that's an easy decision.*DISCLAIMER. Individual results may vary.
Very good product review by asianwuwe on 6/14/2014
These white chia seeds are very good. These chia seeds contain essential fatty acids, omega 3, fiber and antioxidants. These chia seeds are a very deal. A pound for only 11 dollars. I love using this when cooking. They are wonderful thickener. Chia a seeds are tasteless, so I add them to corn soup, tomato soup... to thicken them. Also if you want to thicken batters, add these in. I also add these in my oatmeal. Chia seeds are wonderful and you should definitely should be part of your diet.*DISCLAIMER. Good review by Jane on 5/20/2013
These chia seeds seem to be just as good as any other ones that I have purchased. The best thing is that they are cheaper at BPN than any other place that I have found.*DISCLAIMER. Individual results may vary.
