I started taking this since I began bulking. I usually take just the creatine mono but because im in a bulk, instead of taking a carb supp and a creatine supp, this works to replace both. Tastes good too.
I bought this Allmax Krush because it is creatine and simple carbs all in one. One thing that a lot of people do not realize is that after a workout you need protein, creatine, and simple carbs. Most people will take protein, some people will take creatine, but hardly anyone will take simple carbs such as dextrose. When you take simple carbs like dextrose after a workout, it helps shuttle vital nutrients to your muscle to help aid in recovery. This product does that. However, it tastes bad and it expensive. But as for function, it works well.
I would definitely not recommend this product to anyone. It does what it claims to do, but I just do not think it is that needed. And if you did want a product like this, I would recommend looking at other similar products, because they taste better, are more effective and are also cheaper. I'm just not a fan of this product.
I have been a fan of allmax products but Krush is one I will not repurchase. Before I used maltodextrin and creatine post-workout and this is no different. It just makes it easier to get everything in at once. It has ~34 g waxy maize as the primary high GI carb ~5g creatine and ~2.5 g glutamine and a bunch of other things. The glutamine is unneccessary as PWO whey shake has more than enough and these extra 2.5 g don't really do much. The "other stuff" I haven't noticed any improvements with. The taste is extremely artificial. Just sticking with the protein from allmax from now on.
