Overall, this is a good product, but I do not think it is at all essential. It is basically carb fuel before working out. That is definitely good, but I just think it is just as good and much cheaper to simply eat foods with good carbs in them. This product obviously tastes really good, but it isn't needed to really see good progress.
Loading on complex carbs before my training gave me the energy i needed to go heavier and add more reps. It also blew me up and i gained some weight. A little water weight but mostly muscle. Light cardio helps to deplete excess carbs to prevent fat storage.
