What is Vitamin D3 vs Vitamin D?
Vitamin D2 is ergocalciferol and comes from plant sources where as Vitamin D3 is cholecalciferol and comes from animal sources. Both types of Vitamin D are processed by the liver to 25-hydroxyvitamin D through Vitamin D3 provides higher levels of 25D.
