Carotene is converted by the body into Vitamin A (Retinol) . Beta Carotene is a precursor to Vitamin A. Vitamin A promotes healthy skin, healthy mucus membranes, a healthy immune system, and good eye health and vision. Vitamin A can be sourced from the food we eat, as well as via supplements.
