Life Extension Bromelain works very well if taken twice a day, 1/2 - 1 hour before breakfast, and 1 at bedtime (an hour after dinner). It will take a month or 2 to show best results, but it does contribute to weight loss. I combined it with regular exercise and sensible eating and lost several pounds (and 2 dress sizes) over a few months. Be patient at first. NOTE: You need to take the Enterically Coated version of Bromelein though, as this works best. You can't get this version in Canada though, so it needs to be ordered in the U.S.
I took the Bromelain twice a day (without food) and noticed some fat loss and a slight decrease in cellulite after one month. Note: I also increased my cardio a bit and worked out regularly 3 - 4 times a week, drank lots of water and at less sweets and fats. I felt better (less wired) when I took the pills at about the same time each day - such as early in the morning (1/2 - 1 hr. before breakfast) and 2 hours after dinner before bed. I also noticed a slight decrease in stiffness in my joints which was an added benefit. I will continue taking it.
