Super Greens

This product tastes like fresh cut yard grass. While not all that bad, it is definitely not the most pleasant of tastes. It has me planning exactly when I am going to consume my "Daily Super Greens". I do believe that the Profile of the makeup of the product to be one of the Best I have come across and for the next 120 days, minus the days since i started using it, I will gladly consume the portion that I am suppose to. After that I will look for something a bit more palatable!

Best Price Nutrition

Mark, this is a great product but Greens products generally are not going to win any taste awards. The one exception to this is Glaxon Supergreens, it's a fantastic Greens supplement which also features Glaxon's SuperShroom blend and it tastes fantastic, I'd recommend the Dinosaur Fruit or Burstberry Tea flavors.

Best product I know of to raise pH

I have been using this product for approximately 15 years. Some people say that they do not like the taste. It's grass silly. Maybe they'll dislike chemo too. Nough said.

One of the best greens supplements on the market.

I'm on my second 60 serving tub of this stuff right now and I have really enjoyed it. My GI feels good taking this product as opposed to not using this product. There's a good dose of probiotics in the product and all the key greens are very well dosed. The taste, well, it tastes like grass I suppose, but not very offensive. Very comprehensive blend and I think that value for the 600 gram container is excellent.

Great Product

This product is everything it claims to be. It offers a huge serving of greens, it is easy to mix (I use a blender) with blueberries and almond milk and wheat germ. It tastes good and helps to keep me regular!

Excellent product

Garden of Life Perfect Food was recommended to me by my chiropractor for weight loss, overall health and energy. It defiinitely works! I have lost 30 pounds and kept it off for 5 months by combining this product with egg white protein powder and a sensible diet. Great stuff!

Get past the taste for health

I need to get more greens in my diet so I use Garden of Life Perfect Food Super Green powder to do so. I did a lot of research into the various "green" formulas and believe this is one of the best of them. I've read that "green" capsules are not absorbed by the body as well as the powder form. The taste is not good at all. My suggestion is to use either pineapple juice or pom/blueberry juice to mix the powder into. On the first day start by only using 1/3 to 1/2 of the scoop provided. As the days go by slowly increase the amount until you get up to 1 level scoop. After awhile it's fairly tolerable. The first few days I drank it I reminded myself that I only had to tolerate it for a few minutes. In the grand scheme of things it's not that big of a deal and you will get used to the taste. I wouldn't recommend you drink it with a meal or a snack due to the taste. I mix it with 3 oz of juice about 30 minutes before I workout each day and it works out for me just fine. I can't say for sure that it's helped my health or not, but if you're looking to try a "green" powder, I definitely recommend this one.
