Is Quercetin The Same Thing As CoQ10?

While Quercetin and CoQ10 are similar, they are not the same thing. The flavonoid quercetin is a dietary flavonoid found in fruits and veggies, in particular in onions, where as CoQ10 is a biologically active quinone which plays an important role in the mitochondrial electron transport chain. While both Quercetin and CoQ10 provide similar benefits and have similar properties they are distinct molecules with unrelated chemical structures.

Why is Quercetin So Hard to Find Now?

Quercetin has become incredibly popular in the last two years and it's been a difficult supplement to keep in stock. The US National Library of Medicine has conducted studies on Quercetin in the Prevention of Covid-19 Infection and this has led to increased interest in this supplement. We're continuing to try to bring in more Quercetin products and brands which sell Quercetin supplements in order to try to keep up with demand.
