My Experience With Iconic Formulations Alpha Four Topical Prohormone
As someone who likes to experiment with different prohormones and compounds I came across Iconic Formulations Alpha Four a topical 4-Andro Prohormone. I gave it a try hoping it could help me break past a frustrating plateau. I'd been training consistently, eating clean, and sleeping well but the gains had just come to a crawl and weren't showing up like they used to.
I'd heard about Alpha Four by Iconic Formulations, a 4-Andro topical prohormone that claimed to deliver solid muscle gains, strength increases and improved vascularity all without having to swallow any pills, so I decided to give it a try.
I've used a number of different 4-Andros from various brands over the years and I have to say with Alpha Four I was pretty impressed. Within about two weeks I started noticing increases in strength, my muscles felt fuller and denser and I experienced a noticeable spike in libido which my girlfriend commented on. It caught me off guard how quickly it began working and stacking it with Hi-Tech Dymethazine seemed to help with strength increases and vascularity as well as keeping water weight at bay.
So what's in Alpha Four? Just two simple ingredients...
4-Androsterone (225mg) - This is a DHEA derivative which converts into testosterone in the body. It's known for its ability to pack on major mass and provide strength increases and its both anabolic and androgenic which means your not just adding water weight, your building real muscle.
Androsterone (100mg) - This one helps to offset potential downsides of a 4-Andro like water retention and estrogen related side effects. It also adds to the hard dry vascular look and can help support fat loss by increasing lipolysis and improving thyroid hormone conversion.
What makes Alpha Four different from other prohormones I've tried is the delivery system. Years back I tried some topical IronMag Labs prohormones but I've generally mainly taken Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals, Blackstone Labs and Innovative Labs Prohormones which typically come in either tablet or capsule form. Using a topical they're designed to absorb directly through the skin which helps bypass the liver potentially making it easier on the liver and organs, though with today's prohormones being non-methylated that's not nearly as much of a concern as it was in the past with the old methylated prohormones. I'd use 4-5 pumps each day after showing, simply a couple pumps, rub it in, wait a few minutes before getting dressed and I was good to go.
One of the big benefits I noticed was how hard and vascular I looked in the mirror after a few weeks of use. My shoulders seemed noticeably larger and really popped, my arms looked pumped even outside of training and I just felt strong and powerful. I was also impressed by my stable mood and energy levels with no crash, no bloat and what seemed to be improved and faster recovery during training sessions.
If you're thinking about trying a prohormone but wish to avoid pills or are looking for something that kicks in fast consider giving Alpha Four a try. While topical prohormones can be great some users find them to be greasy, messy or just prefer pills or tablets. If you'd like to run a cycle similar to Iconic Formulations Alpha Four but prefer oral tablets checkout prohormones such as Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals Sustanon 250 or Blackstone Labs Brutal 4CE.
