High calorie

My son gave me a bite of one of these brownies. I do not think I would order them as I am trying to lose some weight and these are very high calorie. They tasted nice, and were very thick, but I do not see the point of having one over a normal brownie? They are so high calorie that I think I might as well have the real thing. Maybe for men who are trying to get big these are suitable, or for something on the go that has a lot of protein, but definitely not for smaller people looking to lose weight - at least not an entire one at once. Nice thing is though you can microwave them in the wrapper and they come out very similar to a baked brownie (one that is really dense).

Tasty

The more protein bars I sample, the more picky and hard to please I become. Bars which would have been recommended once are now flat out despised. So with that in mind, I recommend these. Met-rx make a solid brownie. Heated up it tastes spot on to the real thing, much more so than competing brands i have tried. I won't buy this often, in fact the box I bought last year is still half full. As far as protein bars go I much prefer some of the alternatives (FortiFX, Quest). But if you are in the mood for a brownie, one of these, and a bit of whipped cream on top and you're in business. In fact, I think I'll have one now. Recommended.

Taste good

These brownies taste really good. However there are too many ingredients compared to quest bars. These taste better warmed up. Very good snack during mid day. Worth the try.

Tastes like a brownie

If you are buying a bar hoping it tastes like a brownie then you can't expect much from the macros. These are dense, tasty brownies, and while they aren't identical to one you'd make yourself, they more than satisfy. I really enjoyed the chocolate fudge (fudge is definitely the word, as these are incredible dense) and would buy again. Recommended.

Overall, this is an average bar. Like many bars out there, it has a high amount of protein, but it is also filled with bad nutrients like bad fat and lots of sugar. If you are looking to cut, this bar is definitely not for you. On the other hand, if you are bulking, this could be ok, but there are still better bars out there that have a higher protein content and less sugar. The taste is decent, but that's about it.

Overall, this big 100 is just an average protein bar. I would definitely not recommend this if you are cutting, but if you are bulking, it could be useful. It has a lot of protein, but like many other bars out there, it is full of unhealthy fats, sugar, and carbs. It could be used as a meal replacement, but there are definitely better options out there.
