Ghost Energy Drink Launching an Original "Classic Energy Drink" Flavor

Ghost Energy has just announced an all new "Original" flavor coming soon which reportedly is going to feature a "Classic Energy Drink" flavor. Energy Drinks first started really gaining popularity in the early 2000's. Red Bull Launched in 1997, Rockstar in 2001 and Monster in 2002. 

While today the energy drink market seems to be full of fruity and candy flavored energy drinks, for the first decade or so of their popularity it was primarily that classic energy drink flavor, think flavors like Redbull as well as Original Rockstar and Original Monster. A flavor that's hard to describe as anything other than classic energy drink.

Over the years however brands began putting out more and more fruity and candy flavors and more recently many of the top energy drink brands like RYSE and Ghost have begun partnering with mainstream food and candy brands like Sunny D, Ring Pop, and Sour Patch Kids among others, most recently C4 recently announced an Official Popsicle flavor line-up coming to C4 Energy Drinks.

For a while now Ghost has talked about rolling out a classic energy drink and looks like it's on the way, images have begun surfacing online of the new Ghost Original Energy Drink. The drink will reportedly have that classic Redbull/Monster/Rockstar flavor but what's unique about this drink is it will reportedly come in an 8 ounce can, half the size of the traditional 16 ounce Ghost Energy Drinks, it will also feature half the caffeine at 100mg per can, no word yet on whether it will also feature the additional Nootropics other Ghost Energy Drinks feature. 

We're hearing that the New Original Ghost Energy Drink will only be available at sporting events, festivals and concerts and that at least initially this isn't something you're going to be able to pickup at your local gas station or grocery store. That's really all the details we have thus far but we'll keep you updated as we learn more and hope to get our hands on a can of this all new flavor soon and will no doubt be bringing you a review over at the Best Price Nutrition Youtube Channel
