Won't order again

I used to order and use Allmax Casein FX but it seems that they discontinued it and went to this one now. Different jug and definitely different product. The taste isn't great but it's tolerable. Doesn't blend well. Half of it sticks to the side of the blender and I'm left shoving my fist in my blender scraping the remains out with my finger and licking it like it's brownie batter out of a bowl. Secondly, this stuff is like dust. It makes a mess every time you use it. It'll end up on your clothes, on your counter, in your hair, everywhere. It's so fine and dusty. You'd think it'd mix better being so dusty but it sure doesn't. I won't buy again.

Good protein, but I like the Hexapro better. It's still a blend, which I find better than using a straight casein protein.

Great Protein

Casein is a great protein for people looking for an alternative to whey or just want to switch up their protein sources. Studies have shown having multiple proteins will help with muscle synthesis. The great thing about casein is that is a much slower absorbed protein which helps to keep muscle synthesis running at peak levels for longer. This product is great because it has no fat and only a few grams of carbs making it great for dieting.

Good Casein, But Just Get Whey Instead

I personally have switched to only using Whey as a protein supplement. The rest of my protein, I try to get from my diet. When I was using casein I always thought it was thicker and never tasted as good as whey. This product wasn't as thick as some of the caseins I've tried so I'll give it a plus on that. It also made me felt very good in the mornings if I took it at night, so I will rate it high in quality as well. For someone wanting to give Casein a try, I would recommend this product.

This is the best protein before bed

After a long day of grinding in the gym your body is going to need rest. you're going to need casein FX to help you refuel and recover while you sleep. each scoop has a whopping 25 grams of protein and it tastes great. It will keep you fed for an astonishing eight hours so be sure to give it a try if you're serious about gaining.

helps at night

This is a great supplement to be using at night. Allmax nutrition makes some really good supplements that are usually a little bit cheaper than your average supplement. The taste is decent as others have said, but it is not spectacular or anything like that. However, it is a good overall casein. Casein is great to take at night because it breaks down very slowly. The mixability is pretty fair. The casein is pretty good and it really helps your muscles to grow at night.

Overall Casein-FX is a good product. Definitely use before bed as it is a slow digesting protein. Helps you not lose your gains during the night and keeps you full until breakfast. Taste was okay, not awful.

Taste bad

The taste of this product is bad. Taste is really important when buying protein. The only way I can down this product is to mix it with other protein powder to mask the smell. Also I wonder if it is amino spiked. All max claims an amino acid matrix to pass them adding glycine and turine only.

great overall product, rates is above average, no fillers, low in calories

I love this product, hands down great flavor. I use it at night before bed to keep me full until the morning. I am a figure competitor and keeping a lean physique without losing muscle is what is most important to me. I also use this product to bake with. It bakes well for protein muffins and breads. Along with mixing well in a shaker. I would recommend this product for night time slow release protein synthesis or if I need a quick meal to last me while I work as a trainer. Thank you for such a great casien protein powder!!

Bad Taste, Good Macros

A very solid casein protein powder. The taste isn't very good but the nutritional profile is what sold me. A lot of casein powders have a ton of sodium in them but AllMax's CaseinFX is much lower than the competitors. Keeps me full overnight as I use 2 scoops of this powder as my last meal of the day each day. Would recommend to those who do not mind a bad tasting protein.
