The reason for this is because Rhaponticum Carthamoides has been shown to have natural steroids which can help to increase muscles and endurance. 

Ajuga Turkestanica Extract: This is an extract from a flower plant from Uzbekistan, also called Ajuga. This has been used for medicine as well to help treat upset stomach and general pain, but has been shown to help build muscle and speed up recovery for bodybuilders. Reason being, Ajuga Turkestanica has Phytoecdysteroids, more specifically Turkesterone. Turkesterone helps build muscle and keeps the muscles, like protects them.
