Orange Cream is probably my least favourite and least useable protein. I seldom have a straight protein shake, and more often than not mix my proteins in when baking, however the only recipe that I use Orange Cream with is pancakes - and only because I need to use it all up. Orange just doesn't seem to work as a (milk based) protein powder. I initially thought it was just because it was a Citrus flavour mixing with dairy, however after being taken for a spin by Trutein Lemon Cream Pie I have to say that Syntrax Matrix Orange Cream just isn't a good flavour. Skip this one.
I really enjoyed the Chocolate and Vanilla flavours of Syntrax. I didn't enjoy the fruity flavours at all though. The macros are great, but just be warned that they aren't AS good as they seem. Fat and Carbs is rounded down in a 1/4 scoop, so in a full serving it is higher than 0 and 0. Bit of a marketing ploy there, which is a shame because the protein could stand on all of its other merits. Just trying to stand out I suppose. Great for shakes, but I think it runs a bit too thin for much else. Recommended.
HATED the Orange Cream flavour. Loved the more traditional milky flavours. Choose wisely. It's a good protein, but some of the flavours are hit and miss.
Matrix is a delicious tasting protein powder, Syntrax works in smoothies or for a quick post workout shake. Mixes excellently in a shaker cup. The best part is the ingredient profile, making Syntrax an all around awesome product for recovery to cooking and meal replacement. Pick it up now!
Quick service and good price on Matrix. Vanilla taste great! Expect great results.
I purchased Matrix upon a recommendation from a friend. Excellent taste, dissolves easy in water or milk. Just started using the product not sure just yet of it's effectiveness, other than I am full after using it as a meal substitute.
