Jordan:
Yep.

John:
A lot of you guys are probably starting those New Year's resolutions.

Jordan:
Mm-hmm (affirmative).

John:
Trying to be healthier in the new year. So in today's video, we're just kind of winging this one, five supplements to kind of improve your overall health and wellbeing for the new year. We've got a couple different categories that we're going to hit and we'll kind of throw out some different options from each one.

Jordan:
Yeah.

John:
Should we go one by one?

Jordan:
Yeah, let's do it.

John:
Okay. So number one, fiber.

Jordan:
Mm-hmm (affirmative).

John:
You take fiber?

Jordan:
I do take fiber. Yeah. So I do a psyllium husk form of fiber. I usually add it to a few different products, but it's very good. Obviously overall heart health, but digestive health too. If you're someone who's in-taking a lot of calories, you really want to make sure that you're in-taking fiber to help flush yourself out, clean your colon, help with your gut, things like that.

John:
Yeah. I never really realized. That's supposed to be super good for your health. You know?

Jordan:
Mm-hmm (affirmative).

John:
You think of it as a digestive thing.

Jordan:
Yeah.

John:
But what, it flushes a lot of the cholesterol?

Jordan:
Yes. Cholesterol, definitely.

John:
But yes. Besides that, if you're somebody who feels bloated completely takes care of that. Ghost poops.

Jordan:
Yep.

John:
Fantastic. Brad turned, at least me. Brad turned me onto fiber.

Jordan:
Mm-hmm (affirmative).

John:
I'm taking fiber all the time now. We do have some flavored fibers that make it a little bit more fun, but you know, the stuff works. I think at this point, I'm just going to go with like a cheap psyllium husk from NOW Foods or Yerba Prima.

Jordan:
Yerba Prima, that's actually the one that I use.

John:
That's the one you use?

Jordan:
Mm-hmm (affirmative).

John:
You do the powder or capsules?

Jordan:
Oh, powder. So I add that to like a greens formula, which we'll definitely be talking about here very soon.

John:
With the fiber, we do have it in capsules and powder, like a lot of bulky ingredients. Like you're going to be taking a ton of capsules, so you might as well just do the powder and I do the same thing as you. I mix it with my Super Greens every morning.

Jordan:
Yep.

John:
So yeah. We'll link to a couple different fiber supplements down to description box below, but I don't know. What, NOW Foods and Yerba Prima are probably the.

Jordan:
Yeah, I think we get that.

John:
Two good options.

Jordan:
Garden of life one too, as well.

John:
We got another new product called fiber G.

Jordan:
Yep. I did see that one.

John:
It's a great product. Taste good. I think they might even have some probiotics or something in there. It's going to be a little bit pricey to kind of have the mix. Whereas, I mean, it's going to be like a fifth of the price if you just grab yourself, some raw psyllium husk.

Jordan:
Yeah.

John:
Fiber will change your life, guys. Grab yourself a fiber supplement. Number two, Ashwagandha.

Jordan:
Mm-hmm (affirmative). Yeah. Ashwagandha, I mean, obviously we know that's one of the most, I guess, searched or most popular.

John:
Yeah. Exactly.

Jordan:
Herbal ingredients maybe the past year or two, but for those of you don't know what it is, it's an herbal based supplement that's very good for stress, blocking cortisol and hormonal health. It kind of does multiple things.

John:
Yeah. I've heard it can boost testosterone levels up to a hundred points.

Jordan:
Yeah, definitely. Yeah, no, if you're someone who's obviously under a lot of stress, mental and physical, your body releases something called cortisol, which can be damaging the muscles. Ashwagandha's really good for blocking that cortisol production.

John:
Both guys and girls can take Ashwagandha.

Jordan:
Yeah.

John:
I know a lot of people really like the Goli. That is a fun one. It tastes great. Couple downsides of that one. It has a lot of sugar in it.

Jordan:
Yep.

John:
My girlfriend's mom has diabetes and had to stop taking that.

Jordan:
Yeah.

John:
Also, you're getting a relatively low dose of Ashwagandha in that compared to something like Hi-Tech Ashwagandha.

Jordan:
Right. Yeah. I believe, if I'm remember, it's like the KSM version, maybe like 300 milligrams. So that's one you do have to take it quite a few times throughout the day. Whereas the Hi-Tech one, you're getting three trademark sources and you're getting 600 milligrams per tablets,

John:
But it's like KSM, Sensoril, and then?

Jordan:
And then Ashwa Pure, I think is the other one.

John:
Ashwa Pure. Yeah.

Jordan:
Yep.

John:
So that I would say is probably the best Ashwagandha supplement we have.

Jordan:
Yeah.

John:
If somebody's on a little bit more of a budget, I think we do have a couple cheaper ones, maybe NOW Foods.

Jordan:
NOW Foods.

John:
If you can afford it and if you want to get the most out of it, Hi-Tech, all the way I think.

Jordan:
Yeah, no. You can get that one for 21 or 29.95, and I mean, you get, I think a month supply out of that. So you're only paid about a dollar per serving really.

John:
So we will link to that one down below. Number three. Good multivitamin.

Jordan:
Yeah. So we probably have 20 different multivitamins, Hi-Tech, Nutrex, we have the Animal Pak, which has always been a fan favorite. ALLMAX, they have the VITASTACK, the VITAFORM. We've got so many different multivitamins for men, women, the whole family.

John:
Yeah. We have men 50 plus, women 50 plus, pre-natal, kids vitamins. If you had to throw out one or two of your favorite multivitamins?

Jordan:
So two of mine, depending on how many pills I want to take, if I'm not feeling like throwing down a bunch of different pills, I usually go with MUSCLEVITE from Hi-Tech. Well-dosed. Multivitamin. Minerals. Got some things like L'Carnitine. So some fat burning abilities. Boron, so hormonal health. Beta-alanine.

Jordan:
If I'm going a little crazy, I usually go for ALLMAX VITASTACK, because it does have seven different functions. It comes with about nine pills, cardiovascular health, vitamins, minerals, skeletal support, has an Omega-3 in there, so you get heart-brain health, joint health. Kind of has everything all in one. So that's the one I've been going with lately.

John:
Yeah. For those of you guys who are athletes, who are a little bit more athletic minded. What? We got Animal Pak and the VITASTACK are two good ones.

Jordan:
Yep.

John:
OPTI-MEN's a good one.

Jordan:
Yeah.

John:
If you're just kind of looking for an overall health multivitamin, I know Life Extension has those two a day tabs.

Jordan:
Yep.

John:
Nature's Answer has a bunch of great ones. Garden of Life has a bunch of great ones.

Jordan:
Yeah.

John:
We'll link to some of these down below, but you said your favorite was?

Jordan:
So MUSCLEVITE or VITASTACK from ALLMAX.

John:
Okay. And then for anyone who kind of wants to put more of a men's health or a test boosting kind of slant on it, we got TestoVite.* Did I say that right?

Jordan:
TestoVite. Yeah. That's Hi-Tech and then the.

John:
Apex male by Blackstone.

Jordan:
So Apex is a test booster. It's their testosterone. I don't even remember. I'm blanking on the name, but Blackstone has a testosterone multivitamin.

John:
Okay.

Jordan:
Yeah.

John:
Oh, I think it might be called Multi.

Jordan:
Multi. Yeah. You're right, actually. It is. Totally just called Multi.

John:
So we'll link to that down below, for any of you guys looking for those. Immune support, kind of a broader category.

Jordan:
Mm-hmm (affirmative).

John:
All the stuff in the news.

Jordan:
Yeah.

John:
Things are getting worse.

Jordan:
Yep.

John:
Get yourself some, what do we have? Vitamin C.

Jordan:
Vitamin D.

John:
Elderberry, Echinacea.

Jordan:
Yep.

John:
What are we missing? Zinc.

Jordan:
Zinc. You can buy those individually as single ingredients. Or a lot of companies have started coming out with like immune support. Like Animal has the Animal Immune. Source Naturals has a wellness product, which is really good immune.

John:
That's hugely popular.

Jordan:
Yeah, definitely. We sell out of that one all the time.

John:
In the Hi-Tech stuff, we got some bundles put together if you guys are looking to get like a bundle of 3, 4, 5 different immune support supplements. We got some discounted bundles.

Jordan:
Mm-hmm (affirmative).

John:
I think most of those have volume deals where if they buy 2, 3, 4, they save even more on those.

Jordan:
Yes, definitely.

John:
We got a ton of immune boosting supplements in here. So check those out. And then lastly it was greens.

Jordan:
Yep. Yeah. So I mean, if you're someone like me who hates vegetables. Rarely eats them. Fruits, vegetables, a greens product might be really good for you just to get those missing nutrients in. Super Greens from Blackstone is one of my favorite ones. You're going to get things like prebiotics, probiotics. So gut health, immune support. You get that fungal mushroom blend.

John:
The shroom blend is one of the most unique things about that one.

Jordan:
Definitely. Yeah, no, that's great for the immune system, as well as like overall stamina, nitric oxide support. Plus you do get electrolytes in there as well, so that is going to help with hydration. That's something that I usually, like you said you do in the morning. I usually do mine at night, throw a scoop of fiber with my Super Greens. Cleanses me out, makes me feel a lot better too.

John:
And you know, we actually got two. So I would say by far Super Greens is the favorite.

Jordan:
Yeah, definitely.

John:
Go with either the... I think the dinosaur fruit's probably the best one.

Jordan:
Dinosaur or the Orchard Iced Tea is fantastic.

John:
You know what I'm saying? The Burstberry Iced Tea I just recently bought.

Jordan:
Okay.

John:
That ones pretty decent. The Lemon Iced Tea isn't bad, but this seems to be the least-liked flavor.

Jordan:
It's pretty sour. So yeah. I try to avoid that one as much as possible.

John:
And then probably the second, most popular greens and this one actually, all these guys got proprietary blends, so it's a little bit hard to tell exactly what, but this one seems like it maybe has a little bit more greens and berries mixed in here than the Super Greens. Doesn't taste quite as good.

Jordan:
No.

John:
But this one isn't bad by any means. I think we tried this one, the Pepino Lemonade.

Jordan:
Okay.

John:
Not bad at all. Another great greens formula.

Jordan:
Yeah, absolutely, man.

John:
You tried any other ones?

Jordan:
I've also had Prime Nutrition's, VITAFORM, which is actually a good one. I don't mind that one. REDCON one has the GI Juice, which is a fantastic one as well. And then Blackstone has Juiced Up and they actually just came out with quite a few new flavors as well.

John:
Okay.

Jordan:
I think originally, they just had a fruit punch, but I think we have a grape now and then there's one other flavor as well.

John:
That would be a great thing. Especially if someone kind of slacks on kind of eating a well rounded diet and things like that, really easy way to mix up the fiber and greens in the morning and just great start to the day.

Jordan:
Great gut health, immune support, all that kind of stuff.

John:
So we'll link to pretty much all the products we mentioned down below, and if you order now, you can get it in time to kick off those New Year's resolutions strong.

Jordan:
Mm-hmm (affirmative).
