Brad:

So today, we have a new series-ish of products from Force Factor. You want to let them know what we got?

John:
Absolutely. So Force Factor, again, is a brand we've brought in within the last year. I really like them. I take their Tongkat Ali every day.

Brad:
Yep.

John:
They got a couple good test boosters. We've been having a ton of customers coming into our retail store next door, asking for beet pre-workouts or more natural pre-workouts. I know some of my friends and things like that are... it's kind of part of their morning routine now.

Brad:
Yeah.

John:
So we wanted to get some more options in here. These guys probably saw we did a video of a beet root pre-workout a couple weeks ago. Great for boosting nitric oxides, supporting blood flow, heart health, and so you wound up bringing in three of them.

Brad:
Yep.

John:
We got a powder, a gummy, and a capsule. All great options, but with a lot of bulkier ingredients. You're going to get a lot more out of the powder than you are out of a capsule or even a gummy form.

Brad:
Yes. Most of the time, especially in the retail store, people, when they want amino acids, for whatever reason, all the time, people ask for pills. And I'll try to explain to them, "You can get the pills, but one serving of pills is going to be so far under-dosed from what you get in an actual scoop." For you to get what you're going to get in a scoop of aminos, you would need a handful of pills.

John:
What's funny, I was getting a fiber product for my girlfriend's mom and she said, "Get her capsules. She doesn't want to mix a drink every day," but you look at the side. Just because it's a bulky ingredient, you're going to have to take six capsules, three times a day, to get what you'd get in that little scoop that you mix in with your morning greens.

Brad:
Exactly. Exactly. So we do have the gummies. The gummies, I think, are actually going to sell pretty well.

John:
Yeah. Everyone loves gummies.

Brad:
Anything gummy goes crazy. So let's go over the label on this. And we'll just do this in this order, because I think it's going to be in what you're going to get the most of. And first of all, what you would use beets for is specifically to increase the nitric oxide in your body, because it's full of nitrates, good nitrates, which you actually want. And the better... The more nitric oxide you have, it's going to open up your blood vessels, it's going to lower your blood pressure. So if you have high blood pressure, look into something like this. If you have high blood pressure and you're pretty unhealthy, maybe don't do the gummies.

Brad:
They're not crazy bad. It's only a few grams of sugar, but do the powder, or the pills, or something like that. Either way, in these gummies, there's no artificial colors, no gelatin, no artificial sweeteners, no preservatives. And in each two gummies, you get a 280 milligram blend. You get 150 milligrams of the regular beets powder, 100 milligrams of the beets extract, which standardizes for 10% nitrates. And then, you get 30 milligrams of grape extract, grape seed extract, which also, I believe, has resveratrol, which is good for your heart as well.

John:
You know what? I know somebody's going to wind up asking on the product page, because I know you mentioned no gelatin, so are these going to be vegan and/or vegetarian friendly?

Brad:
I would have to assume so. I think that's why they would put the no gelatin. I don't see it saying vegan off of the get-go, but no gelatin is pretty much what that means. Other ingredients, cane sugar, tapioca syrup, purified water, pectin, citric acid. Yeah. Yeah, there's nothing in here that... So yeah, this is vegan. So if you are vegan for whatever reason, you can definitely go for these guys. Next, you want to go over the pills?

John:
So let's see. So we got the Total Beets pills. You're going to get 120 tablets. We got all the vitamins and everything. The matrix here is going to be 1,050 milligrams compared to...

Brad:
280.

John:
280. So we got Betaine Nitrate as NO3. We got beet powder, mega natural BP, Vitis vinifera extract, potassium nitrate as NO3-T, L-citrulline, and L-ornithine, along with some BioPerine for absorption. So-

Brad:
Wow, I didn't know there was that much stuff in there.

John:
I didn't catch... So that one doesn't have the citrulline or the ornithine, right?

Brad:
It doesn't have either of those. It does have the Vitis vinifera, which is the grape extract.

John:
This one is kind of combining the power of beets along with some of these other-

Brad:
Nitric Oxide.

John:
... NL boosting ingredients. And so like you said, in order of the amount-

Brad:
Efficacy.

John:
... you're going to get in everything, here, here, and then this is a mega dose right here.

Brad:
And these two, there may be... If all you can do is gummies and you know you're a gummy person, go for this. You're going to get benefit out of it. These two seem like they may be comparable because they have such different things going on. The fact that this has Betaine in there, which I think that might as well. Betaine is an osmolyte and it's attached to a nitrate, so you're going to get the nitrate aspect. And then the Betaine is actually going to help the transfer of water through your... or electrolytes through your cells, which is going to help you with blood pressure as well. And then, the powder. So this was pretty much a gram of a matrix. This is five grams of two ingredients.

Brad:
Okay.

John:
Okay.

Brad:
I think it was right there.

John:
Yeah.

Brad:
The video cut out. I think we went too long, but yeah. So this one is a gram. This one is five grams, three grams of the beet root powder and two grams of the Betaine Nitrate. So this one, I think, is going to be... If you want the full aspect of beets, this is going to be the best thing. If you want something with beets and more things for heart health and Nitric Oxide production, this is going to be a good option. But I think no matter what, you're going to want to do the... If you can do the powder and you'll do the powder, do the powder.

John:
You know what's kind of nice about this? If you're taking... This could be a great addition to maybe a stimulant pre-workout you're taking that has some PUMP ingredients in there, but maybe not as heavy as a PUMP pre-workout, so this could be a nice boost to... We just did the video for the Thavage pre-workout. Stack these two together.

Brad:
Yeah, absolutely.

John:
That could be a nice combination. And this, if you're looking for a non-stim pre-workout, a more natural pre-workout, or looking for something to stack with your existing stimulant-based pre-workout, that could be a great option.

Brad:
And with the nitrates in either of these, if you've had a pre-workout with a lot of nitrates in there, you'll notice a difference. It does give you a different type of PUMP. It's not really like a water pump, but you can feel a difference in it for sure. It's a great... And if all you're using is L-citrulline and that's all you're used to, throw in some glycerol, throw in some of this. You'll notice a pretty significant difference. Yeah, and we have all these on the site. I don't know what they cost right now. I think they're pretty reasonably priced. I don't think they're anything crazy.

John:
Yeah, everything's very reasonable.

Brad:
So yeah, check it out. Pick one up today. And if you get the gummies, let us know how they are, because I'm interested to see how they taste.

John:
And we'll link to all of these down in our description box below, so if any of these interest you, check right down below and you can pick one up.

Brad:
All right. Thanks, guys.

John:
Later, guys.
